Cetacean Research


Cetaceans are a marine mammal group that includes whales, dolphins, and porpoises. Studying the health of these species can be particularly useful because they are extremely susceptible to many diseases that resemble those found in humans. Studying disease pathways and treatments can therefore not only help cetaceans, but also contribute to human medicine.
