Welcome To The New Aquatics Resident and Intern!

We are thrilled to announce our next resident and intern joining the program!

Tatiana WeisbrodDr. Tatiana Weisbrod, former intern and masters student of the program, will be moving forward with her training for as our next resident! Her residency will be a total of 3 years and include training from UF, SeaWorld, and Busch Gardens Tampa. She will have the opportunity to continue developing research projects to further the knowledge in specialty (aquatic and zoo) medicine. Please join us in congratulating her and welcome her to the team!

Sarah BalikDr. Sarah Balik is the incoming Aquatic Animal Health Specialty intern. She completed her undergraduate and veterinary degrees at Cornell University, as well as a Master of Public Health through the University of Minnesota’s dual degree Veterinary Public Health Program. After graduation, Sarah participated in a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, MA. In addition to aquatic animal and zoological medicine, her professional interests include wildlife conservation, disease ecology and epidemiology. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Balik to the program!
